I like to wipe the gun down with the Hoppe's and a microfiber rag if I am in the mood. Else another spray down and complete wipe with Remoil and it goes back in the safe a bit wet.

Mar 12, 2007·After cleaning I spray the entire exterior of my weapons with G96, give 'em a wipe and put them back into the vault. You do want to make sure you get lube on the barrels especially because heat from firing cooks the oil from the parkerizing and they will be prone to rust if that lube is not replaced.

PS On new barrels clean initially after every few rounds for the first 20 rounds or so and your barrel will be properly SEASONED and your future cleaning will be as easy as mine.
